For a full-time position, the weekly working hours are 41 hours—fair and manageable. Where possible, we offer flexible home office options.
We cover the premium for occupational and non-occupational accident insurance (for those working more than 8 hours per week). In addition, we cover the premium for private supplementary accident insurance in the event of hospitalization and medical expenses. Engine driver has always been my dream job - and in 1986 I was able to realize it by training with BLS. This was followed in 1988 by training as a steam locomotive driver, which was particularly fortunate for me. After a few years on a historic rack railroad, I found my new locomotive driver's happiness at TR Trans Rail. The varied work still inspires me today. Even my hobby as a steam locomotive driver is supported here by flexible scheduling and a great understanding of historic rail traffic.
