accident insurance

We cover the premium for occupational and non-occupational accident insurance (for more than 8 hours of weekly working time). In addition, we cover the premium for private supplementary accident insurance in the event of hospitalization and medical expenses.

continued payment of wages

We continue to pay 100% of your salary during compulsory military or civilian service (except for basic training and non-commissioned officer training), during statutory maternity and paternity leave, and during leave taken by the other parent.

Independent driving of freight and passenger trains on the Swiss rail network and partly internationally
Responsibility for safety, punctuality and quality

Technical interest and understanding of vehicles of various types
Skillful handling of digital work tools
Business fluent in the language of the area of assignment - both orally and in writing (level B2). Depending on the location, you may have knowledge of a second national language (level A1).

Fair gross wage

The gross salary per month, including the 13th month's salary, depends on age and experience. The annual salary as a qualified train driver is between CHF 65,000 and CHF 104,000. You will also receive expenses and allowances.

Additional allowances

Night allowance: 6 francs per hour.
Sunday allowance: 16 francs per hour.
Travel allowance for shifts of 6 hours or more: 25 Swiss francs
Child allowance: 215 francs for each child up to the age of 16
Education allowance: 280 francs for each child in education aged 16 to 25
