2025
From February 2025, TR Trans Rail will be visible in all areas of the company with a new look. The clear, minimalist design stands for a modern corporate image and reinforces the clarity of the brand name. In addition, a new organizational structure came into force on 1 January 2025
2024
Work on excavating the tunnel from the Sihl Valley to Lake Zurich lasted from May to November 2024. From 2026, extreme flood peaks in the Sihl will be diverted through the new relief tunnel into Lake Zurich. TR Trans Rail AG removed around 60,000 tons of excavated material during this time.
2021
From fall 2021, TR Trans Rail AG will take over all national sugar beet transports from the Aarberg (BE) and Frauenfeld (TG) plants. The organic beet from Straubing (D) and the imported beet from Wismar (D) will continue to be transported by TR Trans Rail AG.

TR Trans Rail AG has been a logistics partner of Schweizer Zucker AG since fall 2019.

In July 2017, the application including the revised safety management system (SMS) and the transportation of dangerous goods is submitted to the Federal Office of Transport and approved by July 2022.
