TR Trans Rail courses are aimed at both employees and external associations and companies. From the basics to examinations, our courses cover technical content on topics such as shunting, safety, escorting, and trains and locomotives.
Periodic inspections
The examinations are aimed at all employees with VTE training whose certification is about to expire. If the periodic examination is passed within the last 12 months before the expiry of a certificate or attestation, the new period of validity will be calculated from the expiry date.
Please note: Only candidates who are ready for the exam may be registered for the periodic exams; the responsibility lies with the candidates. Attendance at these courses is voluntary, but highly recommended for those taking the TR Trans Rail operating regulations exam for the first time. Registration is required in all cases.
basic training
The basic training courses for train attendants (ZSTEBV), shunting locomotive drivers (VTE 10 or A40), and shunting supervisors (Ai/Ai40) are partly conducted with our partner companies. We are happy to provide further information to anyone interested in these training courses.
Course: "Safety in the Track Area"
The idea is that in every club/company, 1–2 people attend the moderator course and then train other new employees themselves.
course language
We also offer our courses in French and Italian upon request. As soon as we receive a request for these languages, a date will be set and announced. Please contact the relevant contact persons for more information.
For associations and companies, we offer additional basic training and advanced training courses on shunting and technical train inspections for wagon inspectors and wagon testers. These courses are available on request. You can find out which courses are available in the corresponding course list.
