Free travel for the main exit every quarter of an hour thanks to a modern intersection.
The main work to unbundle the Basel-Muttenz line has been underway since May 2020. This expansion is crucial for the planned quarter-hourly S-Bahn service between Basel and Liestal.
The single-track Donnerbaum Bridge will create a bypass for the busy Basel SBB main exit. In future, S-Bahn trains heading towards Liestal and Fricktal will be able to travel via Basel Güterbahnhof without disrupting other train journeys.
Our team supports the project on site with the rented shunting vehicle Tm 232. On behalf of BauRail AG, we contribute to the optimization of the railroad infrastructure and the successful implementation of the project.
