Daniel de Jong will take over the management of TR Trans Rail AG and BauRail AG on January 1, 2023. The Head of Future Issues at Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich (VBZ) will join TR Trans Rail AG and BauRail AG as Managing Director on January 1, 2023. Daniel de Jong succeeds André Pellet, who will focus on his Board of Directors mandates and the company ZRT Bahnreisen in future.
As of January 1, 2023, the Board of Directors has appointed Daniel de Jong as Managing Director of TR Trans Rail AG and BauRail AG. André Pellet, former Managing Director of TR Trans Rail AG and Managing Director ad interim of BauRail AG, is stepping down from the operational business after 15 years and will focus on his mandates on the Board of Directors of TR Trans Rail AG, IRSI AG and Lokpool AG as well as his company ZRT Bahnreisen.
Daniel de Jong has extensive experience in change management. After training as a machine mechanic and graduating in industrial engineering, he completed an Executive Master's in Business Engineering at the University of St.Gallen, specializing in change management. The 41-year-old worked for several years in management consulting and has driven and managed change in various companies and industries. In his last position as Head of Future Issues at VBZ, he was responsible for various projects and topics.
