What you can expect
- You enjoy unusual work with different types of locomotives, focusing on freight and/or some passenger transport, as well as on various standard gauge lines.
- You perform technical vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety.
- You comply with the regulations to ensure safety and punctuality.
- You communicate with dispatchers, the control center, and other parties involved to ensure smooth, economical, and customer-friendly operations.
- You participate in training and continuing education courses to keep your expertise and skills up to date.
What you bring with you
- You have completed training and have several years of professional experience as a category B or B 100 (G or P) train driver in accordance with the FOT, and have successfully passed at least one periodic examination.
- You have a high sense of security and responsibility and remain calm even in challenging situations.
- You have a sound technical understanding, if possible also of historic vehicles.
- You have a category B driver's license, speak German very well, and good knowledge of French or Italian is a plus (at least A1).
- Training on different rail systems and gauges is an advantage.
- You are flexible and available for short-term assignments.
