Simon Stäbler will take over as Head of the Transport and Planning Department on April 1 and will thus become a member of the Executive Board at TR Trans Rail AG.
From April 1, 2024, Simon Stäbler will become the new Head of Transport and Planning at TR Trans Rail AG and will thus join the Executive Board. The previous incumbent Daniel Wägeli is leaving the Executive Board and will focus more on expanding passenger transport in his position as Managing Director of Rail Event AG.
The Board of Directors of TR Trans Rail AG has appointed Simon Stäbler as Head of Transport and Planning and member of the Executive Board with effect from April 1, 2024. Daniel Wägeli, previously Head of Transport and Planning, will focus on the further expansion of passenger transport as Managing Director of Rail Event. With the change of function, he will no longer be part of the Executive Board, but will be consulted as a specialist on specific topics and will continue to support TR Trans Rail AG with his expertise in his role as Senior Transport Planner.

Simon Stäbler has many years of experience in the rail industry. After training as a commercial clerk in the public transport sector, he worked for several years as a customer advisor at SBB. Since April 2020, the 27-year-old has been employed as a traffic planner and since April 2023 as Deputy Head of Traffic and Planning at TR Trans Rail in Frauenfeld.
