The Re 4/4 II locomotive, built in 1985, has been freshly overhauled at the SBB plant in Bellinzona in recent weeks and was handed back to TR Trans Rail AG on February 28, 2020 with a new, elegant TEE livery. In addition to the approval for Switzerland, the locomotive also has approvals and equipment for journeys in Germany and Austria.

The Re 421 393 locomotive sold by SBB Cargo to International Rolling Stock Investment GmbH (IRSI) in the fall of 2019 has undergone a fresh overhaul at the SBB plant in Bellinzona in recent weeks and now shines in new splendour. Externally, the transformation can be seen at first glance: instead of the SBB Cargo lettering, the locomotive now has an elegant TEE livery and is an eye-catcher in the railroad landscape.

The International Rolling Stock Investment (IRSI) will be using the Re 421 393 in the fall of 2020 for the sugar beet campaign, among other things. It will also be used for tourist trips in the event sector as well as for transfer, test and measurement runs. The locomotive will mainly be used by TR Trans Rail.

The second locomotive purchased by IRSI, Re 421 387, built in 1984, will also be overhauled in Bellinzona in the near future. In addition to being licensed for Switzerland, this locomotive also has permits for Germany and Austria and is also used by TR Trans Rail and Rail Event for various journeys. It is not yet known what the exterior of the Re 421 387 locomotive will look like after the overhaul.
