What you can expect
- You hold the strings in your hand - planning, implementing and monitoring the quality-compliant and economical scheduling of national and international trains, personnel and vehicles.
- You plan and process short-term changes to freight trains and other trains due to disruptions, delays, new orders, detour, etc.
- You document the operational implementation in RailCube and other tools.
- You will take responsibility for emergency management, such as monitoring train safety, compliance with safety regulations and signaling as well as responsibility for coordinating emergency measures.
What you bring with you
- Training as a rail operations dispatcher, public transport clerk or equivalent logistics training.
- You have experience in dispatching or planning in the entire rail transport sector.
- You are prepared to work shifts in the control center (including evenings and weekends).
- You work in a structured manner, think for yourself, act responsibly and remain calm, even when things get hectic.
- Impeccable and stylistically confident written and spoken German. Knowledge of French (level A2) or Italian is a plus.
