What you can expect

  • You are responsible for the safety management system with the safety strategy, safety targets and guidelines of the two companies TR Trans Rail AG and BauRail AG.
  • You will work in a team with the second Safety Manager and, together with this person, will ensure that he or she is deputized.
  • In addition to management assessments and regular audits, you will investigate safety-related incidents and derive specific measures for improvement.
  • You identify potential hazards, prepare well-founded risk analyses and are responsible for communication with the Federal Office of Transport.
  • You conduct regular training courses, workshops and training sessions for employees and work closely with all departments to implement and further develop the safety guidelines.

What you bring with you

  • Basic technical or commercial training with a degree at HF or FH level.
  • Professional experience in safety and process management, ideally in the railroad or transportation sector, as well as good knowledge of the relevant legal regulations and regulatory requirements.
  • Impeccable and stylistically confident written and spoken German. Knowledge of French and English is a plus.
  • You work in a structured manner, think for yourself, act responsibly and remain solution-oriented and forward-looking.
  • You are a strong communicator and empathetic in dealing with stakeholders. Taking responsibility and actively engaging with new information to expand your knowledge is a matter of course for you. 

What we offer you

  • The annual salary as a Safety Manager is between CHF 95,000 and CHF 120,000 for a 100% workload.
